Wowee today was a long day. I worked from noon until 11:30 as a spare at MK, and I got pulled twice near the end of the night. Surprisingly I never felt like the time was dragging or that my out time would never come. I actually enjoyed the day--I was just getting very tired by the end of it (not to mention hungry!).
Guess what? I haven't spent any money on food in the past 2 days! I've eaten only food from home. That may not sound like anything special but for me, it's something to be proud of! I would really love to go back to AK and get another one of those chai things, though, that was delicious. It also cost me $5.25 so I don't think I'll be getting another one soon, unfortunately. I'm sure I'll be spending a lot of money on my birthday (in exactly 3 weeks!) so I'd better save up until then.
I requested a shift partnering my training buddy Meagan for tomorrow morning but I can't seem to get onto the site where I check my schedules, so I don't know if I got it. I guess I'll have to go in tomorrow morning to make sure one way or the other. That means I'll be up at 6am, and it's already after midnight around these parts. Besides which, I'm exhausted! I don't know how Mom works 12 hour days every day. One is enough to wear me out!
